Wollemi Afloat

Wollemi Afloat has been established since 1999. We operate with the co-operation and permission of The National Parks and Wildlife Service of NSW. The rules and requirements for entry into the Wollemi National Park must be obeyed. Safety for our customers and staff, consideration to the park and other users are our priorities. Patrons are requested to wear PFD's (personal floatation device) during cruises and whilst using our canoes. All our equipment is regularly checked and serviced for safety and reliability.

Over the years we have evolved from a canoe hire business operating only during the summer months, to now include;

  • canoe hire (hourly and daily hire all year)
  • river cruises daytime and evening (available all year)
  • bushwalks and eco-tours (conducted by qualified Discovery rangers)
  • camping equipment hire (pre-erected campsites with cooking facilities)
  • fishing tours (includes guide, bait and fishing tackle)
  • regional tour itineries (conducted through Mudgee tourism)

With such a diverse range of activities and a beautful unique setting in the world heritage Wollemi National Park, Wollemi Afloat have now hosted several school excursions to the delight of both teachers and students. Corporate groups and social clubs have conducted several of their social events with us now and some have planned return visits. Come and experience one of the Central West's best kept secrets for yourself.
